After an eye-opening talk from TRAID, we had an initial meeting to spark a plan and share our ideas. After lots of discussion, we decided we wanted to really make a difference as our over-consumption of clothes is having serious effects on the planet and on people much less fortunate than us.
Our first research plan was to ask people to count the items in their wardrobe then count how much of their clothes they wore regularly. Something a little like this:
We got 10 people to do a wardrobe count and found that ALL of them did not use more than 80% of their clothes, revealing how much we over-consume and how much we could donate to TRAID.
