Discussion of more CREATIVE IDEAS

Today we met after the seminar with Sedge Beswick and considered what else we could incorporate into our online campaign with TRAID.

After the lecture discussing how to create an online presence, and what was successful and unsuccessful, we thought of what is big right now online. We know that people are obsessed with hauling videos, so we felt that by using this style of video, but actually showing all the clothes that you were going to donate this would be a way that the donator could feel good about the donation process. If we linked this with, for example, ASOS marketplace, we could then have some sort of reward system, points of some sort, that would amount to publicity if you were one of the top donators.

This would be a good way of collaborating with a strong online presence because ASOS marketplace sell unwanted clothes so they are doing something good for the environment, like TRAID, and so it would be hitting the right target market at the same time. We would also use social platforms to promote, such as Twitter, where we would 'hashtag' things like TRAIDraid and offer Top Tip Tuesdays.

All this is a really good link to our online presence for promoting donations for TRAID and we feel that the ideas that we have discussed over the past few days all have a lot of potential, but we just need to narrow down the specific ideas and make sure that everything links together well, for both online and offline strategies.
